The Barrackville Singers are a choir from Barrackville VIC, a town so small that it doesn’t appear on most maps.

The Barrackville Singers‘ ‘It’s a Draw’ celebrates the rarely experienced drawn game of Australian Rules Football. With two teams locked at the same score after four hard-fought quarters, there’s no thrill of victory, no agony of defeat, and no club song to be sung by the triumphant side. After an inconclusive drawn game, many footy tragics feel hollow and deflated. However, it makes the Barrackville Singers want to sing! Only football is the winner today!

‘Kicking in Danger’ features Chif Rheinhart, a country singer who also played forward pocket for the Barrackville Bandicoots. The song is about a Shorty, a small forward in a game of country footy that’s headed for a draw, who thinks for a second that he’s won the game. Unfortunately, he looks a complete nong instead!
