Celebrate Wollongong’s cultural life and creative identity at Viva la Gong! MacCabe Park in Wollongong (an easy walk from Wollongong Train Station) becomes a whirlwind of activities, live music and performances from the region’s diverse community groups.

All ages and interests are catered for at the community event run by Wollongong City Council. This year, in addition to the live music and performances, there’s a Play Zone for kids, and the Creative Hub returns for another year with workshops on henna and pottery, to name just two.

Home-grown talent will take over the pop up stages showcasing the City’s top musical talents – including a few ex-pats who’ll drop by their hometown for the day. Plus, there are more than 35 food and drink stalls to keep energy levels up.

The STOMPIN’ RIFFRAFFS will hit the main stage at 8:30pm!
